the problem.

TipTop Vakmannen is a growing construction and renovation company in Amsterdam. They needed a website that did more than list services — it had to build trust, show real past work, and turn visitors into quote requests. Many of their clients are also expats, so the site had to work cleanly in both Dutch and English, not feel like a rough translation.

what I built.

I designed and built the full website from scratch on WordPress. It covers 20+ service pages, an about section, a blog, and a separate B2B page — all kept clean and easy to read.

The standout feature is the project portfolio: I custom-coded a Google Map that plots every past job by location, so visitors can explore real work near them and click any pin to open that project.

I set the whole site up in Dutch and English with proper language switching, pulled in Google and Werkspot reviews for social proof, and placed clear quote and WhatsApp buttons across every page so getting in touch is always one tap away.

the result.

The company now has a website that looks professional and works hard for them. The custom map turns past projects into real, location-based proof for new clients, the two-language setup makes the site easy for expat customers, and the quote buttons turn casual visitors into leads. It’s built to grow with the business as they add more services and projects.
