the problem.

Chakra Pride helps parents, teachers, and caregivers teach children social-emotional learning through a book, printables, and merch — and runs a “Camp Heroes” program alongside its NGO partner. The brand needed a website that did three things at once: tell its mission in a warm, clear way, sell its products, and help run the camp program. The existing site needed a redesign to bring all of this together and feel welcoming to parents and educators.

what I built.

I redesigned and rebuilt the website on WordPress. I structured the homepage to tell the brand’s story clearly — what social-emotional learning is, why it matters, and how Chakra Pride helps — so visitors quickly understand the mission.

I set up a WooCommerce shop for the children’s book, printables, and accessories, with a simple buying experience. For the Camp Heroes program, I built a dedicated section with a member login and a detailed custom volunteer application form.

I also added review integration for trust and set the whole site up for SEO. The result is a friendly, easy-to-use site that handles storytelling, selling, and camp sign-ups in one place.
