Web Development
software license webshop.
Custom WooCommerce webshop for a Dutch software-license retailer.
The full story
the problem.
Officelicentie.nl sells digital software licences — Office, Windows, Server, antivirus, multimedia — across a catalogue wide enough to lose people in. Two things had to be true at once: a shopper had to find the exact edition they needed in seconds, and they had to feel safe paying for something that arrives as a key in an email rather than a parcel.
what I built.
A WooCommerce shop on a custom theme built around the catalogue rather than fitted over a bought one. A category mega-menu exposes the whole range at a glance, and live-suggestion search takes anyone who already knows the product name straight to it.
Checkout carries the payment methods Dutch and Belgian buyers expect — iDEAL, Bancontact, card, Apple Pay — because an unfamiliar checkout is exactly where confidence in a digital purchase disappears. Speed and search structure are handled underneath.
the result.
A large catalogue now browses like a small one. The mega-menu and live search shorten the distance between landing and buying, and offering the payment method someone already uses removes the most common reason to abandon a digital purchase at the final step. Adding product lines no longer adds navigation problems.
Every project here is written the same way — the situation the business was in, what I built, and what changed once it shipped. How I run a project walks through the stages step by step.

This project started with a short conversation, not a spec document. Tell me how your business runs today — I’ll tell you what I’d automate first. If automation isn’t the right answer, I’ll say so.
